So it's been a few weeks since I left school officially, and I thought that now is probably the best time to start looking ahead at my studies. No time like the present! So here's what I've been up to today... It's only a little bit, but it's certainly got me back into the swing of things - and it's nice to put your pen down, walk away, and realise that some of the information actually stuck!
Anyway enough of my rambling. Today, I looked at Atomic Structure which basically meant looking at the charges of particles (which was a re-cap from GCSE Chemistry - not Physics). It also covered a calculation to work out specific charge and brushed over how isotopes are used to radioactively date archaeological findings (again, this was covered at GCSE, but actually in Physics this time). This wasn't the only thing I got up to, as I also did some Chemistry (although, again it isn't much) and you can find out more about this here. Keep Learning! Zoe
